Service Description
Through a series of playful projects and hands-on physical computing, students will learn foundational coding concepts and build their digital skills! The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that offers an introduction to how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features that, when programmed, become an engaging and interactive experience! This is an introductory course for ages 7-12. Participants must be able to read and be capable of operating a keyboard, mouse, and touch-screen. Computers will be provided for use during class hours. We kindly ask that parents do not stay to observe so we can limit distractions.
