Birthday parties are offered at our lab during the following time slots:

Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm ($225+tax) Note: can be adjusted to 5:30-7:30pm upon request

Saturdays 11am-1pm, 2-4pm, and 4:30-6:30pm ($275+tax)

We kindly request you book your party a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. If the date and time you were hoping for is no longer available, or if you would prefer a party at your residence or rented facility, we can bring the party to you! Click here to read more about our Mobile Workshops.
Inclusions

Private use of the lab for 2 hours (approx 60-75 minutes for guided activities, and 45-60 minutes for food and gifts)

Up to 8 participants, including the birthday child (see Optional Add-Ons for more guests)

A STEAMpunks host to guide participants through activities of selected theme

Supplies for each participant to complete the activities of selected theme

Exclusions

Food, beverages, and loot bags are not included, but you are welcome to bring your own. We are conveniently located beside a a pizza place (Aroma Pizzeria - note: they do not open until 3pm on Sundays).

Other helpful information

Our parties are best suited for children between the ages of 4-9. The minimum age requirement to participate independently is 4. We can make exceptions to accommodate 3-year old siblings, family members, or special friends provided a parent is sitting with them to provide 1:1 assistance for the full duration of the activities.

We have a freezer in our staff area, so if you're bringing an ice cream cake, we can store it for you during the science activities.

Our parties are hosted in English, but we do our best to accommodate requests for French. If you'd prefer a French/bilingual, please note this in your booking form and email us with the date and time of your party to give us the best chance of success in scheduling a French instructor. Not all of our staff are bilingual, so we cannot guarantee the availability of a French instructor for your party.

We provide table settings, but if you would like to bring your own themed table coverings, plates, cups, napkins, etc., please email us in advance of your party to let us know.

We do not offer customized themes or combine experiments from different packages.

We kindly request that you arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your reservation.
Cancellation Policy

Bookings cancelled with more than 3 weeks or more notice are fully refundable

Bookings cancelled with less than 3 weeks notice are non-refundable

If the birthday child is sick on the date of their party, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost (the new party date will be subject to our availability)

Payment for extra participants is non-refundable
Themes
OOEY GOOEY
Activities include slime and polymer worms! Participants will take home their slime.
GROOVE THING
Tie dyed t-shirts and lava lamps! Participants will take home their new fav t-shirt! Sizes available: 3T to Y-XL.
THE BLOW-OUT
Activities include film canister rockets, elephant toothpaste, and Mentos in Coke.
