Job Description:
-
welcome guests on arrival
-
facilitate events by walking children through a short lesson, followed by an experiment or activity (note: programming is already prepared, there is no expectation for creating new content)
-
provide participants with assistance as needed (e.g. opening containers, pouring, measuring, etc.)
-
prepare class kits in advance of classes/events
-
help with clean-up after class
-
assist with inventory management and administrative tasks as needed

a passion for teaching and engaging with elementary school-aged children (aged 4-10)

confident presenter

organized and effective time management skills

can prioritize tasks

exceptional customer service skills

works well independently and as part of a team

First Aid, CPR (not required at time of application, but will be required as condition of employment)

bilingual (English, French) – not required, but preferred
-
available to work evenings and weekends (classes and birthday parties are generally during these times)
-
vulnerable sector check will be required prior to employment for those 18+
